Reading Group @ HMPC

The Book Club meets on the 4th Friday of the month and anyone is invited to come and discuss the books. Our gathering time is changing from 1 – 3PM to 1:30-3:30PM so please make a note. If you have never been a part of a book club or used to be and would like to join a club again, please consider joining the HPMC Book Group. There’s nothing to do: why not try coming for one meeting and see how enjoyable it is!

This Sunday’s lesson is based on John 1: 43- 51 when Jesus calls Philip and Nathaniel to follow him. We will read the scripture and discuss ways that we can follow Christ. We will color a take home ditto and make daily goals on ways on how we will follow God during the week.

Franklin Lakes, Oakland & Wyckoff (FLOW) Clergy Gathering for MLK Day

The FLOW Clergy Association is planning a special MLK Day worship service to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King. There will be a pot luck dinner following. The gathering will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018, 7PM, at Barnert Temple. Special guest Venerable Chris McCloud, Deacon of the Episcopal Arch Dioses of Newark, will speak during services about issues around race and privilege.

No Tuesday Bible Study

Please note: there will be no 7PM Tuesday Evening Bible Study tonight, Tuesday, January 9. Pastor Lou has another Presbytery meeting to moderate.  We will have Wednesday 10AM Bible Study, as usual.
