Bell Choir Practice Resumes

Our HMPC Bell Choir is practicing on Wednesdays, at 7:15PM in the Sanctuary.  Please join us; if you have any questions about joining please contact Lorna Noonan, Bell Choir Director, at 973-650-0047.

Faithworks

This lesson is based on Luke 18:1 -8 which is the Parable of the persistent widow. It serves as a reminder to never give up on faith and prayer. It encourages us to put our trust on a merciful God. The last verse asks, ” When the son of man comes, will he find faith on earth?” We will ask that question to ourselves. We will read and discuss this scripture and make a list of prayer petitions that we will pray for as a group at the end of the class. We will start a prayer bucket and collect prayer slips that we will use to ignite a praying attitude in our class. I pray that the children’s prayer life will be one of boldness and confidence in our faithful God.

Volunteers can arrive at 6:30 to share the meal with guests and servers or if not eating, arrive by 7:30. Beds are provided but need to bring bedding. Assigned families can decide who will be reader. Please inform Chris who is reading one week before you are scheduled.  Two or more people can share ushering and hospitality duties.  If you cannot be available when assigned, please switch with someone else and inform the office of this change.  Please check PM regularly to see the date of your assignment.  We need a few more volunteers for the listed duties.  If you can help in anyway, please call the office at 201-891-0511 and we can add you to the list.  Thank you for kindness and generosity in assisting with the church service.
