Christmas Joy Offering
December 15 and 22 is our Church’s 4th and final Special Offering for the year the CHRISTMAS JOY OFFERING.
Our gifts will support past, present and future leaders.
By supporting the Assistance Program of the Board of Pensions, the Christmas Joy Offering honors the faithfulness of current and retired workers and their families.
Our gifts will also make it possible for students to learn and grow in faith at Presbyterian-related schools and college’s equipping communities of color.
Save the Date
Friday, December 13 at 8PM, the Jersey Jubilation Handbell Choir will be performing again at Ridgewood United Methodist Church. They are located at 100 Dayton Street in Ridgewood.

Christmas Tree Projects End This Thursday
Thank you for participating in the Mitten Tree and Angel Tree Christmas projects, which are ending at noon Dec. 12 to allow time for the gifts to be distributed. You can still bring items to the church before then. The Mitten Tree benefits families served by the Center for Food Action. You can help keep a child or teen warm by decorating the Mitten Tree with new hats, scarves, mittens or gloves (purchased or handmade). The Angel Tree benefits low- to middle-income families who receive daycare vouchers through the Bergen County Office for Children. The county sponsors this program for children whose families lack sufficient resources to provide holiday gifts. Bring unwrapped toys or books for children up to age 13, or let the county staff shop for you by donating Target, Walmart, or VISA gift cards (put in an envelop that says “Angel Tree” and give to Chris Buckley). Sometimes the anniversary of grief is the hardest time. As we enter the season where everyone is celebrating, it can be really lonely to be feeling loss and sadness. Come to a place just for you this season, December 21, 7PM on the longest night of the year. Music, poetry, prayers, to help you get through. There is a welcome here for the truth of how you really are. Open to everyone, all faith traditions… Come… bring a friend. 730 Franklin Lake Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ.
Many thanks to Chrissy, Sabine, and Janet for filling the containers, and putting the garden to bed for the winter.
HMPC Book Group
The HMPC Book Group meets on the fourth Friday of every month, at 1:30-3:30PM.
